The ongoing agitation in Kashmir after the killing of Burhan Wani in an encounter with the Indian security forces on 8 July 2016 does not seems to end very soon. The widespread protests and violence which erupted soon after his death led to the imposition of curfew for almost 53 days. At least 71 people have been killed and over 11,000 injured in the ongoing protest shutdown called by the separatists. While the Modi government has committed to talk to all stakeholders in a bid to quell the ongoing unrest in the state, they are against to any engagements with separatist leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Farooq and Yasin Malik. In a tussle between the two people of the region are paying heavy price with their lifes and freedom. Now do you think that government should come forward and invite separatist leaders for talk to bring normalcy in the region.
