The ghastly attack carried out by terrorist at the Indian Army headquarters in Uri claimed the lives of 17 soldiers and wounded another 19. According to Army’s director general of military operations (DGMO) Lt Gen Ranbir Singh some items belonging to slain terrorists had Pakistani markings. Further more they belonged to Jaish-e-Mohammed Tanzeem (militant group). The terrorists were heavily armed with sophisticated weapons. Home Minister Rajnath Singh accused Pakistan of harboring terror as state policy against India. The pattern of targeting security forces has remained the same. First it was Gurdaspur attack (27 July 2015), then Pathankot Air force base attack (2 Jan 2016) and now Uri attack. The casualty rate is at its all time high. The demand for surgical strike against militant groups and camps located in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir has grown louder. Now do you believe that the surgical strike as only left out option to teach befitting lesson to Pakistan.
